A Most Unusual Consignment Store!

By The Friday Barn

Date: February 4, 2012

The Friday Barn is a very unusual consignment shoppe. For 30 years known as “Signs of Progress”, now converted to serve the public in a difficult economy. We have new, gently used and vintage household items, as well as antiques, furniture, home décor, jewelry, toys, holiday items, garden items, tools and hardware.

We have over 30 consignors and we continue to grow. We are always accepting new consignments.

We also downsize homes and estates with care.

Owned and operated by Kimberley Gordon, a resident of Pepperell since 1980.  Kim graduated  college with a degree in Fine Arts.  Starting her post-graduate career as a professional potter, Kim worked for a Rockport based pottery for four years. With a desire to have her own business, Kim founded Signs Of Progress .

After thirty years , Kim, at age 50found a new niche.  She recognized a need to help those looking for a place they can afford to shop and a way to help others leave behind a smaller carbon footprint.  Thus “The Friday Barn”  was created.

So stop by, meet Bella, the New Friday Barn, adopted dog and, you never know what you’ll find at “The Friday Barn " on Friday between 8 am - 6 pm or Saturday between 8 am - 3 pm.  We look forward to seeing you save money and have fun!
