The Subcriber Contact is the person associated with the account and accessing the account. The subscriber contact is also the person who will receive communications from ShopPepperell.com. Add the business owner's E-mail in your profile and the business owner is copied on all E-mails from ShopPepperell.com too.

This allows shoppers using ShopPepperell.com to send your business an E-mail.

How do I get my business into the "Business Spotlight?

To get into the Spotlight you need to create a Featured Business Article (learn how on the next question). Once a Featured Business Article has been created your business will automatically go into the Spotlight. Anytime you create a Consumer Article your business will display in the Spotlight.

How do I add a Featured Business Article, Sale, Event, Help Wanted Ad or Consumer Article to my business page?

Click on "My Profile" and your current activities will appear on the right. Click the blue "Post a new.." on the particular activity you want to add to your business page.

Why did my Article, Event or Ad disappear from my business profile page after I submitted it?

The activity you just created will disappear while it is sent for approval? Once approved, it will show up automatically in your business page and throughout the web site.

Why is the text I entered not displaying correctly on my business pages?

When using the text editor type directly in the box or copy and paste from a text file. Text copied from word processors such as MSWord or WordPerfect etc, may not display correctly. Find information on using the text editor at the help icon on the editor.

When will the event, ad or article I justed submitted show in my business page?

These will show in your business page automatically and on the web site, after they have been approved by the ShopPepperell.com administrator.

How do I use a different Featured Business Article for my business in the spotlight?

Click on "My Profile" and click "Promote" on the particular Featured Business Article you want to show in the spotlight.

How do I edit the E-mail on my account or other Account Information?

Click on "Account" (upper right of each page), click "Edit" to edit the information, click "Submit" to submit the changes.

How can I block E-mails from other Pepperell businesses?

Click on "Account" (upper right of each page), click "edit" to edit your profile, set "Block E-mails to "Yes" and hit "Submit".

What is "Contact Google Groups"?

This link allows users and subscribers to view related Google Groups and consider joining them. Google Groups can be used for business and community discussions, planning and managing projects, networking and other business-related discussions.

How do I add images to my articles?

If images are stored on web servers or image hosting sites on the internet, the images can be included in your articles on ShopPepperell.com. Here's how. Locate where you want the image to go within your article, click the "Image" icon (symbol to the left of the flag) on the text editor and add the URL of the image you want to use.

How do I add links to files or links to web pages to my articles?

You can add a link to a file already on a web server or a link to a web page. Here's how. Locate where you want the link to go within your article, highlight the word(s) to be linked, click the "Link" icon (symbol below the B icon) on the text editor and add the URL of what your linking to.

How do I add or change my logo?

Click on your logo whenever you see your business in the spotlight and upload a new logo instantly. You can also click your logo on your My Profile page and insert a new image.
