A Home Town Soldier's Holiday

Please help support our soldiers from Pepperell this holiday season. The attached letter from the Pepperell 4th of July Committee offers information on how we can help make a soldier's holiday special. It reminds us to support the families they leave behind in Pepperell, especially during the holidays when we cherish being together with loved ones and look forward to the joy Christmas brings to young children. Here are some ways we can help...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SSGT Casey Reed is deployed in Afghanistan.  His wife and 2 small children are here.  On December 12th we are gathering at 6:45 at ST Joseph's Church and going to their home for Christmas Caroling.  We are also collecting donated Items for the Reed family to bring them Holiday Cheer!  If you have something you would like to donate contact Lorri at vinehavenfarm@yahoo.com

I'm sure many have seen the sign at the Rotary that honors all of our current service men and women.  On December 19th  1:00pm we are holding the dedication.  Please join us in honoring those who serve and their families.
There are 45 soldiers that we know of in the Town of Pepperell, 16 of them are deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.  That is 16 families that do not have their loved ones home for the holidays.

We are also asking folks to make posters/signs welcoming PVT Anthony Januskiewiecz home.  He returns home for R&R on the 16th.

Thank you all for your kindness, As a mom of a son who is deployed it is great to see OUR community come together to support the families.
