Not only does Pepperell have a wide variety of businesses, an impressive history to share, community events for the public and ongoing programs to support our service men and women, but we also have award-winning water.
In May 2011, the Mass Department of Environmental Protection recognized the Pepperell DPW Water Division with the Public Water System Award for Outstanding Performance and Achievement. The Division also received a citation from Governor Deval Patrick for their dedicated service and commitment. In years past, Pepperell received an award of distinction for the quality of the water in the town at the 1939 New York Worlds Fair and the quality of our water is still evident today.
